This quiet spoken lady with an effervecent spirit has sung to the poorest of the poor, all the way to high ranking international diplomats and even the President of Madrid. She believes people are people and wants her music to yes entertain, but also to encourage and inspire.
After mainly living overseas during a period of 16 years in Spanish speaking countries, they now have decided it's time to settle down (to a certain point) and have made their home in Manhattan, Montana where Tom manages the GIIG Insurance Agency and Lori is the Spanish teacher at Manhattan Public Schools.
Lori´s first two albums were recorded in Nashville , Tennessee . Upon leaving the states to work with people overseas in humanitarian service, she laid her music aside for several years. While living in the Canary Islands , she became seriously ill, a condition that would last for several years and even appeared life threatening. Lori then realized that there were two things left unfinished in her life: the raising of her children, and the singing of her song. She promised God that if He ever got her back on her feet, besides taking great care of her family, she would go all out like never before to use her songs as an expression of love to others.
Lori had given up on the possibility of singing and recording again but miracles did happen. Since those days, she has recorded three CD's in English and three in Spanish. She is now releasing her ninth album, DANCE IN THE WIND.
This international-hearted lady is unique in so many ways! As one listens to her wide variety of musical styles, you learn she is an artist like no other. Who else do you hear singing AND writing music in pop, flamenco, rock, country, celtic, big band, jazz,... and then top it off by doing so in either Spanish or English! Her lyrics have messages worth listening to! Her music is so diversified that Lori's venues consists of cultural centers, Palaces, monestaries, churches, personal parties, weddings, prisons, a discoteque, concerts in the park, music festivals, television, radio ................. |
