More than ever I realize how beautiful and important faith is. How can we dance with joy if we ignore the one who purifies our inner being?
The money he made he sacrificed and saved, went to buy a new porche
A few years it was great, but now it's full of scrapes, doesn't start anymore.
So much he's loved, now is just stuff, life's mortality is clear

Diamond in the Rock
Though "diamond in the rough” is the usual saying, "diamond in the rock,” describes more accurately what I want to say in this song. There are people who have loved me and invested something of themselves in my life. As I see them age, I see some of them wondering if they are worth anything anymore ... I wrote this song to show them how their loved ones see them now.
A stroll in the countryside, I find a stone weathered by the years,
People had crossed it's path, but the rock still lies intact, so it appears
A miner I'll be today, with a chisel I pound away
At this time what might I find
Then to my amazement, to my surprise, I just cannot believe my eyes!

Sometimes, I have it together, it doesn't matter if it's stormy or if it's sunny weather
and sometimes I can love whomever, whether lovely or uncomely,
my heart goes on forever. Sometimes
YET always, and forever, in times of greatness or weakness I need Jesus, always, always ...
But sometimes, obstacles daunt me, worries want me how they haunt me, I struggle with such small things
Sometimes, I'm just performing, I'm not growing, I'm ignoring, what the
Lord wants for me. Sometimes
He has always been, with Him my life begins.
The Divine One is who He is
He's not here one day and then is gone, His love goes on and on
That is why I face each sometime like this
That is why I always need him
Sometimes I am happy, I am laughing I am dancing, and no one is more lively
Sometimes I'm amazing, my strengths go beyond me,
I don't doubt God has made me ...
sometimes ... But in each sometime, Jesus is always with me.
